A high-profile renovation includes a huge mural commission in Miami

River City Contractors, Inc prides themselves in having an edge in the construction industry with their experience in design.  Alan and Ellen Cottrill, owners of River City Contractors and Millwork Design Studio, love to get their hands on an interesting project that they can get involved in the design aspect of a project, as well as the construction.  In 2015, they had the opportunity to commission and assist in the design of a huge mural, spanning almost 150 feet, in Miami, when Marcus Lemons commissioned River City Contractors to renovate Grafton Furniture, for an episode on the hit CNBC show, The Profit.  Not only did we help create a beautiful design studio and renovate their old warehouse, but the mural that was commissioned is a very impressive piece of public art.

River City Contractors Serves Up Delicious Downtown Eateries

From the construction team that brought you the Candy Apple Café at the sweetest destination on earth comes the trio of eats at 220 Riverside.

Now open: Sbraga and Co

This savory dinner spot for Top Chef Season 7’s big winner, Kevin Sbraga, features the softer side of high design. Custom metal work and hand hewn beams add an old world feel while the warm wooden floor and lighting make you feel as though you’re dining at home. Our team’s challenge was to combine the worlds and still have a slightly contemporary feel, to make it the hottest new dining destination in Brooklyn Station.

Coming Soon: HOBNOB

From the brilliant culinary palate of Alan and Ellen Cottrill comes the latest and most mouthwatering concept yet. The interior design mixes patterns and colors with texture and lighting that will have you coming back for more than the drinks. Opening in late March, designers and diners alike will be lining up for the first taste.

Coming Soon: Brixx

To round out the trio is a “fresh alternative to pizza and beer”. When working with franchises, execution is everything. In the words of the founders on how they intend to keep the competition at bay? Just add fire and that’s what we intend to do.
