Avant was selected to lead the adaptive reuse transformation of the historic Lawton-Pratt Funeral Home, originally constructed in 1916, into a boutique hotel and event venue, where guests can experience Springfield’s rich culture and have a place to stay for intimate celebrations. The scope of work converted the 9,482 SF space at a cost of almost $2.1 million. The historic building now accommodates 13 apartments alongside private parking lot and private gated pool.
