About the Project
Avant served as the General Contractor for the development of a new, ground-up Shores Liquor store located on San Pablo Road. The project involved the construction of a 7,465 SF, two-story retail facility designed to meet the demands of a high-traffic retail environment. The interior was designed to maximize product display and customer service, with walk-in coolers and regular coolers placed on two sides of the space, along with display racks, checkout counters, and ample employee gathering and storage areas. Additionally, the project included the development of a new parking lot to accommodate high volumes of customers, ensuring accessibility and ease of use. The building features a durable standing seam metal roof, designed to withstand Florida’s weather conditions and enhance the building’s longevity.
Unique Elements
This ground-up retail build prioritized both product display and customer convenience. Avant integrated specialty features like a custom cigar room, elevator, and drive-thru window into the 7,465 SF footprint, all while optimizing layout for service flow. The standing seam metal roof and walk-in coolers were selected to withstand Florida’s climate and retail demands, and a newly developed parking lot supports high-traffic access.
