About the Project
Avant recently completed the interior build-out of the second Fore Score Golf Tavern, located within The Palms at Gate Parkway. This 6,800-square-foot renovation transformed a raw commercial space into an upscale, multi-use venue combining immersive sports simulation with a full-service restaurant and bar. The scope of work included the installation of multiple sports simulator bays, full kitchen and bar build-out, new MEP systems, interior finishes, and specialty architectural details. The completed space blends hospitality with recreation, supporting Fore Score’s expansion into Jacksonville’s fast-growing Gate Parkway corridor.
Unique Elements
The project’s intricate design features and multifunctional layout required a high level of coordination between the construction and design teams. The space showcases refined finishes and playful accents, most notably the eye-catching putting green–shaped ceiling installation above the bar. Integrating advanced sports simulator technology into a hospitality setting posed unique electrical and structural challenges, which Avant addressed with customized framing and precise coordination with vendor specifications.
